Scott joined Brave Asset Management in 2016 as a partner.
After graduating from Bennington College with a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics, he began his career in finance in the equity research department of Goldman, Sachs. He went on to work in equity research and portfolio management at Tiverton Trading; Morgan Stanley; Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette; and Credit Suisse-First Boston, before launching a global macro hedge fund in 2003, which he managed for the next 12 years.
Scott is very active in the management of the town in which he lives, Little Compton, RI, having held various appointed and elected positions over the last 10 years. He is also a member of the board and officer of several non-profit organizations including the Brownell Library and the Sakonnet Point Club.
He is an avid boater, fisherman, and traveler, passions that he often enjoys in the company of his wife and three children.
Scott is based in the Tiverton office, but travels frequently to Summit.
